Variations on a Still Life

Variations on a Still Life is a series of five arrangements that change daily over the course of a five-day live stream. The arrangements consist of objects and materials sourced from the Montreal cityscape, Lisa and Phil’s apartment, and from the belongings of the artist. Each arrangement is piled on top the previous composition creating a layered narrative over the course of the project.

Jeff Mann is an interdisciplinary artist currently based in Montreal, QC. Through sculpture, installation, and video his work explores the specificity of landscapes and their relation to urban culture.
